About us

This website is run by EngineIQ Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number TO CONFIRM. Our registered office is TO CONFIRM. You can contact us at hello@engineiq.co.uk.

What you're buying

An EngineIQ test card lets you take a sample of engine oil and have it scanned at an EngineIQ testing point. After scanning, you receive a report by email that gives an indication of the oil's condition. The test is not a mechanical inspection or a diagnosis. Please read about test results before you buy.

Prices and payment

Test cards cost £35 each, including delivery to a UK address, unless a different price is shown for a specific offer. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe, when you place your order.

Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order. If we can't accept your order, for example because of a pricing error or a problem with stock, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Posted within 1–2 working days. If your order hasn't arrived within 7 working days, please contact us and we'll send a replacement or refund you.

Your right to cancel

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your cards. See returns and cancellations for how. If you've used a card, we may reduce your refund because it can no longer be sold.

If something's wrong

If a card is faulty or damaged, contact us and we'll replace it or refund you. This doesn't affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Test results

Reports give an indication based on the oil sample you provide and how the test was carried out. We can't guarantee the condition of your engine, and a normal result doesn't mean there's nothing wrong. Decisions about repairs, maintenance or buying a vehicle should take account of other information, including advice from a qualified mechanic.

Testing points are run by EngineIQ or our partners. Opening hours and availability can change, so please check before you travel.

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
